Pink Light Studio was established by Mary Beth Freet in Seattle, Washington, in 2009. Mary Beth had previously worked at Nordstrom, designing prints and patterns for their childrens' line. When she first had the idea to start Pink Light Studio, she began with a strong mission statement: "Our goal at Pink Light is to create bright, fun, whimsical artwork that will make people happy and bring smiles to their faces."
Mary Beth Freet is the founder and Creative Director of Pink Light Studio. She brings a wealth of knowledge and creative air from her eight years of experience in the fashion industry. Her passion lies in creating her artwork in collections that are whimsical, modern, and bursting with bright happy colors. Mary Beth has two boys, Keaton and Kelland. They keep her busy and are a constant source of inspiration. When she's not working or traveling, Mary Beth likes to practice yoga and spend time reading. She is always gathering inspiration from the market, nature, and architecture to incorporate into new collections.
Nina Seven is a surface designer and illustrator living in Seattle with her husband, two almost grown kids, and a couple of crazy cats in a 1909 Craftsman style home. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Graphic Design, and has been working as a designer for over twenty years. Her work is whimsical and playful with a modern sensibility. She loves to play with color, pattern, and textures. Her creations always offer a mix of fun things for kids and cool things for adults.
